About

I'm drawn to questions nobody has fully answered yet: UFOs, extraterrestrial life, physics, parallel universes, consciousness, the astral realm, string theory, strange phenomena, the stuff most people file under "probably nothing."

I research, write, experiment, and sometimes get stuck on a subject for way longer than planned.

I also build software, mostly in C, C++, Rust, TypeScript, and Python, depending on what I'm making. Some projects are serious, some are experiments, some exist purely because I wanted to see if they'd work.

Stack

C Low-level systems, performance, embedded work
C++ Systems and native applications
Rust Systems programming, performance-focused software
TypeScript Web applications, tooling, interfaces
Python Research tools, automation, quick experiments
Tauri Lightweight desktop applications
Bash Linux tooling and automation

I pick whatever fits the problem instead of forcing everything into one language.

Linux

My daily driver is a custom Arch Linux setup running the CachyOS kernel. I keep it lean and under my control, no pile of software I never touch. Just a terminal, a good editor, and whatever the current project needs. I switch between Zed and Vim depending on the mood.

AI usage

AI is a tool, not the author.

I sometimes use it to turn messy research notes into readable Markdown, or to help me understand an error I can't immediately place. The ideas, research, and projects are mine.

Writing

Most of what I work on starts as a question. Then it becomes notes. Then too many notes. Then, eventually, an essay.

I write about technology, consciousness, physics, unexplained phenomena, and whatever else has gotten stuck in my head that week.
