π USV Portal Proxy (Archived / Proof of Concept)
A secure, high-performance proxy and interactive web interface for the USV Student Portal. Built with Next.js and styled using a premium Cyber-Ocean theme (dark mode, liquid transitions, dynamic analytics dashboards).
- Status: Permanently archived at the request of the university after serving 40,000+ unique visitors (tracked via IP and device shifts by Cloudflare) and 3.1+ million HTTP requests in a single month (with peaks of 3,700+ daily active users). Kept public as a Proof of Concept (PoC) portfolio project.
- Architecture: Fully containerized environment using Docker & Docker Compose.
- Security & Network: Reverse-proxied via Caddy (with TLS termination), utilizing an isolated OpenVPN sidecar container for secure university network access.
- Activity Tracking: Embedded background loop for active session tracking and real-time state synchronization.
