Port of e2638a5 onto origin/staging (cherry-pick applied cleanly). Ported: - crates/webclaw-fetch/Cargo.toml: wreq-util =3.0.0-rc.12 -> =3.0.0-rc.14 (exact pin kept; wreq stays at =6.0.0-rc.29) - Cargo.lock: matching wreq-util entry + checksum; no second wreq version - .gitignore: add .lasso/ Dropped: nothing. rc.14 only touches wreq-util's Chrome profiles (Accept q-value, new Chrome 149 profile, Emulation::weighted_random). webclaw-fetch consumes only Profile::SafariIos26 and the compressors, so our emitted fingerprints are unchanged. Drop the last lead/lead_batch mentions from examples/README.md and the @webclaw/mcp README tool count (14 -> 12), and bump create-webclaw to 0.1.8 since its setup text changed. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…candidate-20260909
Bump the workspace crates, the @webclaw/mcp launcher (package version and pinned release tag) and the MCP registry manifest to 0.6.23 together, and roll the Unreleased notes into a dated 0.6.23 section: extraction scope and unusable-page errors, recovery fixes, the retired Lead tools, faster JSON-LD parsing and the release pipeline checks. release-preflight.sh v0.6.23 passes. The README install commands and the Windows install workflow keep pointing at v0.6.22, the newest published release, until v0.6.23 is published. v0.6.22 stays on its existing commit.

Prepare v0.6.23 with consistent structured-output validation, source-aware summaries, strict main-content title recovery, and crawler callbacks shared by callers.
Local validation: 800 workspace tests passed; seven provider-environment tests passed separately in serial. Five ignored network/example cases remain for the release acceptance checklist. This draft collects automated checks and review on the staging candidate before promotion.
