If the extension is double, like blade.php, the renderer won't detect it. I'd also like to be able to match the renderer not only by extension, but also based on the view path.

For the double extension, that is likely a bug around getting the extension from the file name. We need to create a test case for it, and then the fix will be trivial.

Adding view path sounds doable as well.
