PhpExtractor returns various fields (e.g. title) with binary data for encrypted PDFs, error on UPDATE (incorrect string value)

for example: Encrypted PDF file

• all extractors are executed: exiftool, pdfinfo, php
• the extractors exiftool, pdfinfo do not return anything for title
• the PHP extractor returns several fields with seemingly binary or wrongly encoded strings:
• since the other extractors got nothing, the PHP extractor result "wins"
• this fails when writing to the DB (which is good in this case), but the file cannot be uploaded

Configuration

I guess, I can solve this on my end by deactivating the PHP extractor, but ideally, it would not try to extract anything in this case.

By encrypted PDF, you mean one where there's a password to modify it (free to read)? Or to read it?

It is not possible to read the PDF at all without a password.
