Hello XCIST team,
I am currently able to run the example Sim_Recon_Sample.py successfully, and I am very satisfied with that workflow.
Now I would like to replace the detector with a flat-panel detector. I tried running the FlatPanel example Sample_TestRun.py, but it does not seem to include object/phantom scanning or reconstruction of a CT image. It appears to be more like a basic FlatPanel test rather than a complete scan-and-reconstruction example.
I then tried to modify Sample_TestRun.py based on Sim_Recon_Sample.py, hoping to obtain a working example that uses a flat-panel detector to scan an object and reconstruct the image. However, the results were not satisfactory.
I would like to ask whether there is a working example, or a recommended workflow, for using a flat-panel detector in XCIST to:
- scan an object/phantom,
- reconstruct the scanned data,
- and obtain a proper CT image.
Any guidance, example script, or recommended configuration files would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your help.
