Describe the issue
On the Wildbits/K / F256K1 running the 2x core, with a normal SuperBASIC + MicroKernel, etc flash installation, the system intermittently will fail to boot.
To reproduce
If you power cycle the device enough times, you will eventually hit this issue.
On a test just now consisting of 50 power cycles where I followed the below procedure:
- Power on device
- Observe behaviour
- Leave device on regardless of result for 5 seconds.
- Power off device for 5 seconds.
- Repeat next attempt
39 of those attempts succeeded and the device booted successfully to SuperBASIC.
11 of those attempts failed and exhibited a black screen, or some mostly black + random bits of discoloured text from the initial SuperBASIC screen visible. In all of these cases the system was non-responsive via the keyboard.
Expected behavior
I would expect the system to always boot successfully to known working software (such as SuperBASIC).
