Trouble powering 13'3 inch spectra6 display with single cell lipo-battery and TPS63020 power regulator.

I'm having problems with powering an esp32s3 dev kit with an TPS63020 power regulator. Even with a large capacitor, it's not refreshing the panel. If i plug in the usb-c-cable, everything workes fine. Any idea? What power regulator could do the job?
