Describe the bug

when creating a custom tab layout, that takes 2 parameters, a repository one and a text one. when pressing space when focussing on the text field, switches the focus to the repository field:

To reproduce

1. create a tab config with the following layout:

2. enter text in the text params
3. press space (add a space to the textfield)

Expected behavior

I should be able to define a tab name with spaces
