Validated on 2026-09-06, with Unreal Engine 5.8.1, Linux, Vulkan and NVIDIA RTX A5000. This is a source prerelease; the tested graphics card does not state a minimum hardware requirement.
A fresh project copy contained source files only, with no credentials, prebuilt
binaries, assets or project caches. Scripts/assets.py fetch downloaded the
runtime pack anonymously from its public R2 URL and installed 147 files.
Scripts/assets.py fetch --pack all then downloaded the optional authoring pack,
installed 163 files, and rechecked the 147 runtime files. No archive was staged
locally: both downloaded SHA-256 values and all 310 file inventories passed.
The separately installed Unreal Engine and host toolchain remained available.

The fresh project compiled successfully: 41 actions, 29.06 seconds.
Scripts/check.sh ran with Vulkan offscreen rendering and passed all 23 required
markers, including the 13 deterministic dynamics checks aggregated as physics.
All 27 Python tooling tests, module boundaries, source inventory, Python AST,
shell syntax and whitespace checks passed. Compact runtime evidence is included in release-checks.txt;
full logs remain local under Saved/Publish/. The GitHub source workflow
checks the release commit before tagging; it does not compile Unreal or run GPU
scenarios. The runtime evidence here comes from the clean local installation.
The six indoor scenarios cover aperture and solid collision queries, all twelve detailed houses on every floor, their vertical passages, camera clearance and a continuous flight through a procedural villa with indoor landing and takeoff. The imported houses loaded 4,588 convex hulls. This is not a claim that 24 complete manual flights were performed. Screenshots and earlier local development measurements are recorded in VALIDATION.md.
This is a source prerelease: doors and windows stay fixed open, attics remain decorative, and the waypoint mission stays outdoors. Other operating systems, packaged builds and physical gamepad calibration remain unverified.
Validated on 2026-09-06, on Linux with Unreal Engine 5.8.1, Vulkan and an NVIDIA RTX A5000. This is a source alpha; the graphics card identifies the tested machine, not a minimum requirement.
A new project directory was populated with public source files only, without
.env, Content, SourceAssets, Binaries, Intermediate, Saved or a project
shader cache. The separately installed Unreal Engine and its Linux toolchain
remained available on the host; this was not a fresh operating-system installation.
The documented asset command downloaded both packs from their public R2 URLs, without credentials or reuse of local development assets. It verified archive SHA-256 values and every extracted file before installing 310 files.

Scripts/build.sh compiled the clean project successfully: 40 build actions,
28.15 seconds on the test host. Scripts/check.sh then passed all 17 required
markers: 13 deterministic dynamics checks aggregated as physics, and 16
integration scenarios. The runtime audio check loaded all 14 clips, 3 loops and
10 voices, with fallback=0; automated checks intentionally mute playback.
Compact test evidence is included in release-checks.txt. Full build and engine logs are local development artifacts excluded from Git.
- 27 Python tests passed: 20 asset-download/integrity/filesystem cases and 7 source-publication guards.
- Module dependency checks, Python syntax and shell syntax passed.
- The staged public source inventory was checked for caches, private files, local engine paths, common credential signatures and literal credential values.
- Exact configured local credential values were not found in the publication source inventory. This focused scan does not certify unrelated repositories or inaccessible prior history. The public repository starts with a new history.
- The Android File Server plugin and network access are disabled, with its local security token removed. Unreal association is a portable version string.
The GitHub workflow runs source, architecture and tooling checks on public commits. It does not compile Unreal or validate GPU rendering. Runtime results above come from the clean local installation using the published asset packs.
The owner approved the continuous 84.167-second gameplay recording before publication. It contains actual simulation with visibly identified scripted controls: takeoff, climb, stabilized flight, a waypoint mission excerpt, manual takeover and landing. Only the final stationary hold was shortened; flight timing was not accelerated and no flight segment was cut.
The MP4 is 1600 × 1000 at 30 fps, H.264 with AAC stereo game audio, 83,503,111 bytes. A full anonymous public download matched its SHA-256, and FFmpeg decoded the entire file without errors. The gameplay scenario reached real ground contact and disarmed at 76.419 seconds. Watch the demo and reproduce it.
The follow-camera probe was corrected from Unreal's default 12 cm to 1 cm for the microdrone's 2.2 cm support clearance. A regression scenario checks the launch pad, an elevated platform, wall collision and restoration after obstacle removal.
A standalone packaged game, a fresh Unreal installation on another machine,
Windows/macOS, physical gamepad calibration and other GPUs remain unverified.
The engine may emit duplicate HUD hitbox warnings for menu and details; these
did not fail the functional scenarios, but should be cleaned up in a later patch.
Physics constants still include estimates and have not been calibrated against
recorded real-drone flight data.
The initial R2 public domain is a development endpoint subject to Cloudflare rate limits. See publication maintenance for domain migration and immutable archive retention. Asset licensing scope is documented in third-party notices.
