TPAC sounds like a good opportunity to get updates on the state of text editing inside Shadow DOM.

Adding my thoughts based on current ongoing and future considerations:

• ClipboardChange event - we have in principle alignment and proposed spec changes can be discussed once PR is in place.
• Start a discussion for support for Bidirectional(presence of both ltr and rtl) text: Selection and cursor navigation.
• Explainer(in progress) for Selective clipboard read: this is a proposal for capability to read specific MIME type on clipboard.
• Thoughts and updates on spec for content editable.
• Spec support for bugs, example: selection and search for CSS generated content.
• Thoughts on spec guidance for HTML generation to be written to HTML MIME type on clipboard for any given selection.
• Thoughts on API support for reading the available types on clipboard.
