Parse Error (again? Wasn't this fixed?)

FWIW, this code from real world
height: min( var(--Hoch, 1) * var(--normalHöhe), var(--nochPlatz, 500px) );
has more errors.

testing on https://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/

tst { height: min(1 * 1px, 1px); }

is valid,
`tst2 { height: min( var(--Hoch, 1) * var(--normalHöhe), var(--nochPlatz, 500px) ); }

says "The types are incompatible" even when --normalHöhe: 1px is declared, so this is indeed a bug.
