Motor type & schematic

Hello,

I would like to build your project, can you give some information about the n20 gaer motor? Which motor voltage type do you use? I guess 9v motor type and powered it with different voltage? Or do you tried different motor voltage types? And which rpm does your motor has? Maybe you have a schematic and would share it?

The motor is driven by the 9V block battery.
I thought I noted the specs of the motor somewhere, but apparently not 🙈

6V, speed ratio 1:30, 500 rpm

I think I ordered this 3x with different reduction ratios (I think that's the only difference, even if they specify different voltages) and tried which worked best with my lock at 9V.
For the short on-time, heat is likely not an issue, so you could also use a boost converter from the 2xAA cells and set the voltage you need for your lock. Would be interesting to know how much these tiny motors can handle 😄
