The idea is to be able to add right away instances per 2, 3 or 4 etc.
Incremental increase can be too slow for some projects to respond to high peak of traffic.

In order to be able to set a value for the number of instances you want to scale your project to automatically, TESTS must be done before hand to analyse what behavior will fit the best to a project.
