Modules not updating (iFrame/SimpleLogo)

I'm using SimpleLogo to pull a static JPEG off of a non-RTSP webcam to show my front door. (yes.. I'm too cheap to buy a new camera). When I'm not using the profile switcher, the JPEG updates at a rate of 300ms without any issues. The timestamp on the image updates almost like full-motion video. When using profile-switcher, SimpleLogo and iFrame stop updating the image. Any ideas?

Big Picture: I'd like to use a hidden button to display a full-size depiction of the front-door cam when someone's there. A timed profile showing ONLY the camera module would be perfect.... if it worked.

Hey there,

Most likely a way too late response but for anyone else looking for this:
I am thinking it's due to the MagicMirror framework stopping updating the module when it's hidden. So there is not much I can do about it.
