On my main computer (1900-ish resolution) I get a good looking four-items-across but when it re-sizes for the laptop its 3 with a lot of extra space.
This is on my laptop at 1300-ish resolution
This problem could be solved either by having the images dynamically resize to some kind of best-utilization-fit or by letting users adjust a slider that increases or decreases the size of individual items.
