Total Key removed from Jira issue JQL API, along with maxResults=0 is now not supported

As currently, I'm not able to see the Total key in the API response of Jira's issue JQL Api, and also the maxResult query Param is also not supporting the value 0. How does the 3.0.0 of this gem works correctly as per this code.
