interface out of sync with fan

I've used your Node library to control my fan for years without issue. I tried this today and it's not working quite right for me. The screenshot below shows some conflicting information. The fan is actually on in the screenshot.

The way this happened is I turned it on with the hallway entity, and then I selected off for speed. The fan didn't go off and the GUI then got out of sync.

The home assistant plugin never worked perfectly and when my WiFi module died (as these things apparently have a habit of doing), I wound up just getting the new module that just has a regular remote (which is a real drag going back to a non-smart way of dealing with the fan, but at least I can still use the fan, which was literally impossible when the WiFi controller died).
