missing pysmartpen

Hello,

I came across this project and wanted to try it out. However after building libsmartpen and installing it I still couldn't get the smartpen-browser working because it does a import pysmartpen but I can't find what project that provides that python module.

What am I missing?

Depending on where you installed libsmartpen, you may have to set
PYTHONPATH and/or LD_LIBRARY_PATH. As easier solution (if you're
using ubuntu/debian, at least) may be to download the prebuilt
packages from my launchpad PPA:

Unfortunately I'm not using a debian based system. I just ran make
install so it looks like it is in /usr/lib/. if I were to copy that into
my python2.7/site-packages would it get picked up? the file is
libsmartpen not pysmartpen.so so I'm not familiar enough to know how it
picks that stuff up. I didn't see any other file being installed from
the Makefile.
