Voice/video isnt currently working as medooze-media-server does not compile with node22/node24.
This is purely a tracking issue, feel free to use this as a shared communication board towards fixing that :)

Odd that it isn't compiling with node22 for you. Just tried to build it with:

Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS


gyp info using node-gyp@12.1.0
gyp info using node@22.17.0 | linux | x64
gyp info find Python using Python version 3.8.10 found at "/usr/bin/python3"

and it was successful.

Also, didn't we get it working on Spacebar prod a couple of months ago? Think it was on Node22.

So the only thing I could find on this is part of GCC Link-Time Optimization which is failing to inline certain functions (such as _mm_crc32_u8) whenever it is not given a specific architecture. You can attempt to disable LTO or we can be more strict on the compile flags for CPU options.

huh, on that I see gcc 12.2 but your original message was gcc 15.2. What are we using in nix currently ?
