- Emily integrates the database with index.js, the server is now functional.

- Emily creates a post request /update_item_status that updates the item's 'found/disabled/etc.' status in the database.
- Sofia uploads the UAT test plan that she, Dorjee and Leo made.

- Emily implmenets the backend for the login and register pages, but it's not fully integrated with the frontend.
- Dorjee restyles the scoreboard and implements displaying data.
11/12/2024:
- Dorjee creates a fully functional inventory hotbar.
- Dorjee creates a fully functional timer that counts down as the user plays.
11/13/2024:
- Emily makes the header display user info like progress and username.
- Emily creates more tests.
- Emily fixes /update_item_status.
11/17/2024:
- Sofia adds endpoints for pages 1-4.
- Sofia implements the 'pickup' gameplay functionality, the code dynamically adds on-click event listeners to all possible pickupable items.
- Sofia implements the 'solve puzzles' gameplay functionality, the code dynamically adds on-click event listeners to all possible solvable
puzzles and 'completes' the puzzle if the user is holding the correct item.
11/18/2024:
- Sofia hides and shows all necessary items with a dict, to be replaced with the database.
- Emily updated the DB to include the users_items table
- Emily added all items the INSERT statements
- Emily made it so register populates users_puzzles and users_items now
- Emily completed all tests for update_item_status and update_is_solved, they now passed.
- Dorjee adds temporary objects to the inventory.
11/19/2024:
- Dorjee updates the inventory with all the pickupable objects in the game.
- Dorjee adds drop shadows and special effects to the inventory when items are hovered over.
- Dorjee updates the timer to function more like a stopwatch, also adds a temporary stop button.
- Emily updates the header to call information from the database.
- Emily updates index.js, including adding the post request /update_is_solved and the authentication middleware.

- Sofia integrates the inventory with the game.
- Sofia implements using objects from the inventory to solve puzzles.
11/21/2024:
- Sofia deploys the website online using render.
- Sofia updates /update_is_solved to take the item name instead of internal database id, and to only increment the progress by 1.
- Sofia integrates solving puzzles with the database (solving a puzzle sends the /update_is_solved request with the corresponding puzzle name).
- Emily updates the database with all images that will be visible/hidden when each page is loaded up.
- Emily makes all game pages load their document elements with the correct visible/hidden statuses by reading from the database.
- Emily creates a get request for /all_current_item_status to be usable by the inventory.
- Emily updates /update_item_status to be usable by the inventory.
11/23/2024: Sofia makes picking up items send the /update_item_status request, updating the item's status to 'found' in the database.

- Sofia implements the 'create cookie dough' puzzle.
- Sofia updates the database with the visible items for scenes 2b and 3b.

- Sofia implements the 'brew a potion' puzzle.
- Sofia adds a glow effect on hover to pickupable items.
11/29/2024 : Sofia created a 'complete game' screen and made progress increment while user is playing, so the game can be completed now.
12/02/2024 :
- Emily finished database integration for gameplay mechanics (visibility).
- Emily updated registration post to include the new user-specific scene_states.
- Dorjee implements the inventory dynamically accessing items & their statuses from the database.
- Dorjee implements the inventory reflecting what items are clicked on in the database.
12/03/2024 :
- Sofia fixed the /update_item_status endpoint.
- Emily updated the scoreboard to load from the database.
- Emily maintained logged in user's information on scoreboard page.
12/04/2024 :
- Sofia updated "README" file for running tests.
- Dorjee finished inventory implementation with the database, fixed a bug where disabled items could be clicked.
- Sofia fixed gameplay bugs.
12/05/2024 :
- Sofia fixed more gameplay bugs.
- Emily fixed registration and login reroutes.
- Emily updated the end game image.
- Sofia implemented scoreboard screen saving gameplay time.
- Sofia fixed snowflakes being at the back of the screen.
