Can you make an independent taskbar?
The objetive is to use winxshell without using 3rd party applications to control task bar like color or icon size without using -winpe option in winxshell.

It is an independent taskbar. You can just control the color, icon size with WinXShell.jcfg.
But it still use the Shell_TrayWnd class name, so 3rd part application can do something with the taskbar.

The objective is to use 3rd party software for start menu only and use winxshell for taskbar with custom colors like startallback or openshell / classicshell do.
I use phoenixPE for building PE.
If I only use Explorer as shell (working until w11 23h2) and no 3rd party software it will make full functional desktop with no start menu and transparent taskbar.
Unless I'm missing something I can only create taskbar using -winpe option

The WinXShell can use the classicshell as the Startmenu, you can change taskbar color with WinXShell.jcfg.

I use phoenixPE for building PE.

If you want to use Explorer as shell in win11 24h2, you have to add the StartAllBack 3.8.x for creating the taskbar with full functional desktop with Start menu, and transparent taskbar.

WimBuilder2 can create a Windows 11 PE( 24h2) with Explorer as shell, you can compare the boot.wim to fix that.

Or start menu x?
With startallback "start menu x" works; with WinXShell + openshell + "start menu x" works but I can't change the default menu to "start menu x". Only using WinXShell it doesn't work: menu open and closes in loop and doesn't show any menu itens.
