Suggestion: Ability to Crop image when saving

Here's my second suggestion - Quick Camera is letting me set up all my exposure in-camera but it's still necessary to open each image and Crop it. I'd like to see simple draggable crop bars from each side (top, bottom, left, right) so that I can do the crop while the item being photographed is in preview. Ideally it should "Remember" the crop from the prior photo, though of course a Reset function would be useful.

I appreciate your app and it's certainly helping me document my collection of model train cars.

Hi Sean - thanks again for the idea. I have an open issue for changing the size of the window (and cropping the output), which looks like it may address your use case.

In the meantime, you may want to check out ffmpeg. It's a command line too you can run against a folder of images to crop each one by passing size parameters.

Thanks Simon. I'll check ffmpeg, see if I can make that work for me. The crop will vary depending on the type of car, so I'd need to filter only files of each particular type separately - but it may still be faster than opening each in Preview and cropping.

If you do end up adding that new feature, please keep in mind the ability to easily adjust the crop in either dimension; drag bars would be perfect. For my purposes, seeing it in preview prior to Command-S saving a shot would let me make sure the shot is framed properly, and if I replace a 50' car with a 70' I'll need to crop it wider. (Or zoom out & crop it "Shorter" but I think you get the idea).
