The way we handle keypresses does not allow for simultaneous/chording keypresses which practically translates into Delayed Auto Shift (DAS) being interrupted when simultaneously rotating. We need a more durable way to handle keypresses, and based on minimal research I did long ago I suspect this will require us to execute netris as root (which personally is not a show-stopper to just getting this done).
