Implementation does not throw checked exceptions

What's the problem?
OMAPI declares what exceptions that can be thrown, but implementation does not 
check these exceptions. Perhaps some are not recoverable - but they are 
expected as the specification declares them. 

I think implementation should be updated to check the exceptions that are 
specified by the specification.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
