Are there any plans to build R 3.6.0 roll? Anyway / steps one can follow to build one?

Likely we'd upgrade to 3.6.1 instead of 3.6.0 on next update as it was release 2019-07-05. Version updates of R don't appear to be as difficult or potentially error-prone as verifying R-modules compatibility. I can check with our User Services team to see if we had any user requests on our systems and/or if it's on our roadmap.

I do plan to upgrade it to 3.6.1 soon

Thanks... it will be a great help / thing if it is always on roadmap. We have started using the cluster but our users were moaning saying it would have been awesome to get latest R.
