Why focus on Atom when everyone uses Visual Studio Code? #8

Great initiative with the IDE! I love it! However...

Atom is no longer the preferred editor for most people.

For instance, Atom on GitHub has 53k stars (https://github.com/atom/atom), whereas VS Code has 107k stars (https://github.com/microsoft/vscode).

Stars shouldn't be the only indication obviously, but why start with a lesser used IDE?
