[Bug]: Music does not start (now after BOSE-Shutdown)

What happened?

At first: Thanks for your work!!
Unfonrtunately it doesn't work on my side.
I installed it on 30/III and 20/II . Setup reported no problems (with Docker on UGREEN DX2800) .
Changing volume from Web and On/Off is working, but it doesn't play music at all. Neither Presets nor via Web-Interface (simple Radio-Station-URLs, e.g. WDR4) I Also tried to set a new URL (for WDR4) in the Web-UI. Every time it shows up "Bitte waehlen Sie ein Preset...."

Steps to Reproduce

- Successful installation
- Try Presets or start preset from Web-Interface.
- Set Presets from Web-UI

Expected Behaviour

Playing music :-)

I unterstand the issue (im also a Dev).
As i mentioned before: I added Radio-Station-URLs via your WEB-UI (TuneIn and RadioBrowser).
The URLs should be ok.

I have the same issue. Flashed my SoundTouch20 succesfull but when choosing a preset it shows "Bitte waehlen Sie ein Preset...."

Let me help narrow this down. The message Bitte waehlen Sie ein Preset means the speaker doesn’t have a valid preset assigned yet — it’s not an error, it’s the default state.

Diagnosis

1. Version 0.0.0 — This indicates a development build, not a release. Please use the stable image: ghcr.io/scheilch/opencloudtouch:stable (currently v1.1.0).

2. Setting a preset: After the setup wizard completes, you need to:

   • Go to Radio Search in the web UI
   • Find a station (e.g., search "WDR4")
   • Click the station to start playback
   • Then long-press a preset button (1–6) on the web UI or your speaker to save it

3. If playback doesn’t start after selecting a station: This usually means the hosts modification didn’t fully take effect. Try rebooting your speaker (power off/on) after the setup wizard completes.

What I need from you

To investigate further, please provide:

• Screenshots: with further information or marked areas
• Docker logs: docker logs opencloudtouch 2>&1 | tail -100
• Speaker info: Open http://<speaker-ip>:8090/info in a browser and paste the output
• Which exact step fails: Does search find stations? Does clicking a station do nothing?

💡 If you’re both running version 0.0.0, upgrading to stable might solve it directly.

I’m removing the auto-applied bug label for now — once we have logs, we can determine if this is a bug or a configuration issue.

We're not questioning your technical skills — we genuinely need that diagnostic data (logs, speaker info, screenshots of the UI state) to help you. Without it, we're guessing in the dark. 🙂

Hello, many thanks also from my side for Your effort in developing an alternative software for the Bose devices. Unfortunately I'm facing the same problem with my ST10. I'm using the latest version of Your software in a docker container on a Raspberry Pi. It finds the Soundtouch and the migration was done successfully. I can load the stations from the ST, I can set a new station, but it is not possible to start the music from a station. I tried to prepare the requested screenshots and log file and enclosed them to my post. Would be great, if they could help solving this issue.
