Question about the MIPI interface

I see that you connected the screen directly to the MIPI-DSI interface in the Raspberry Pi. Did you had to do any change to the RPi firmware to support the bigger resolution? (I always supposed that, at least for RPi4 and older, only 1024x600 resolution was supported, the one from the "standard" screen).
