Feature request: Could it be served over HTTP to be viewed in a web browser? #7

Description

@willsheppard

moddoc is a wonderful idea! It's really useful, but it seems like a poor imitation of a web browser. It displays README.md in the same way as web pages on github, but with these drawbacks:

  • there is no back button,
  • no hover to see link targets,
  • some pages don't have a scroll bar,
  • no address bar,
  • no right-click,
  • if links are followed, there is no browser history to refer back to later,
  • there are no plugins for e.g. form filling (use case: User clicks to donate to dependency project and wants to enter payment details)
    (credit to Johan for bug report)

May I suggest that the whole app be served locally over HTTP, so the user could use their web browser of choice to view the information?
