This issue exists to identify and engage a Bridge Advisor who can review #8 before any candidate lab outreach, meeting request, SOW discussion, or paid feasibility work.

Role basis

Bridge Advisor expected role:

• review Sal-Meter Layer-0 RFP / SOW logic;
• recommend suitable external electrochemical or biosensor laboratories;
• help define first meeting questions;
• support candidate lab technical review;
• later review raw traces / protocol logs / QC summaries if work proceeds;
• provide Go / Revise / No-Go technical memo support.

The advisor does not define CAIS.

The advisor does not validate Sal-Meter.

The advisor does not certify any system.

The advisor does not speak publicly on behalf of SICS unless separately authorized in writing.

Public GitHub may include:

• anonymized advisor candidate IDs;
• public professional profile links if appropriate;
• high-level fit category;
• non-sensitive contact status;
• non-sensitive next action.

Public GitHub must not include:

• private emails;
• private phone numbers;
• compensation terms;
• confidential evaluations;
• private quotes;
• legal terms;
• NDA drafts;
• internal criticism;

• the role does not validate Sal-Meter;
• the role does not certify any system;
• confidential details will be handled outside public GitHub.

The first message must not state or imply:

• advisor endorsement;
• Sal-Meter validation;
• CAIS compliance;
• certification;
• device readiness;
• production readiness;
• public competition opening;
• public spokesperson status;
• official authority over SICS terminology.

Advisor fit criteria

A suitable Bridge Advisor should have credible experience in one or more of the following:

• electrochemical biosensor development;
• gold electrode systems;
• aptamer-electrode interface;
• SELEX familiarity;
• redox chemistry;
• thiol / glutathione sensing;
• university or industry research collaboration;
• raw electrochemical trace interpretation;
• protocol / QC / drift review;
• Go / Revise / No-Go technical memo writing.

Expected advisor outputs

The selected advisor should be able to provide:

1. short comments on the Layer-0 RFP / overview;
2. review of founder-seeded candidate lab longlist;
3. recommended first 3 outreach targets;
4. first-call technical question list;
5. candidate-specific caution notes;
6. recommendation on university-lab vs national-research-institute vs CRO route;
7. recommendation on whether two-lab parallel feasibility is justified;
8. later review of raw traces / protocol logs / QC summaries if work proceeds;
9. short Go / Revise / No-Go technical memo.

Relation to #8

#8 should not be treated as completed until a qualified Bridge Advisor or equivalent technical reviewer has reviewed the candidate shortlist or a documented reason is given why internal review is temporarily sufficient.

This issue supports #8.

This issue does not replace #8.

This issue does not authorize candidate lab outreach by itself.

Relation to PM / counsel review

Bridge Advisor engagement does not authorize outreach or paid work by itself.

After advisor review, PM / counsel review is still required before:

• formal lab outreach;
• SOW discussion;
• paid feasibility work;
• public characterization;
• partner announcement;
• data exchange;
• contract signature.

Completion condition

This issue is complete when:

• at least 5 Bridge Advisor candidates are identified or marked for private review;
• at least 3 candidates are suitable for first contact, or a reason is given why fewer qualify;
• first-contact message boundary is confirmed;
• no private advisor data is exposed publicly;
• no compensation or legal terms are exposed publicly;
• one advisor candidate is selected, rejected, or placed on hold;
• selected advisor, if any, is ready to review [Bridge Advisor] Layer-0 candidate shortlist technical review #8;
• PM / counsel review requirement is retained;
• no validation, certification, CAIS compliance, Sal-Meter status, device readiness, production readiness, or public claim authority is introduced.
