Steps to replicate

1. write some text
2. Move the cursor roughly to the middle of the text
3. Enter INSERT mode
4. Press and hold ESC for 2 seconds, then press k. The line will move up
   After investigating :nmap and :imap there are no mappings for <ESC>k
