The Latin orthography given for Hakka contains letters like "ê̌", which seems surprising to me. Trying to verify this, I realised that Hyperglot has a note: "Hànyǔ Pīnyīn (pinyin) romanization". But I'm not convinced Hanyu is used for Hakka - Taiwanese Hakka has its own Romanization systems, Hakka Pinyin and Pha̍k-fa-sṳ. Surely one of these would be a better choice?
