Add zsh aliases

I have manually installed hydenix from the manual installation instructions. I have a conflict with a package I have installed and a zsh alias created by the system. How do I go about changing this alias. I have located the .zshenv file in many locations, but all of them are Read Only (RO). I have found an editable location for Hyprland keybindings, but nothing so far for general home-manager configs like zsh aliases

nixos is a immutable distro, meaning files are generated from your nixos config. these zsh aliases would be changed in your config.
