this is already present but would be nice to snap helices to align with other helices (say two helices that are split with a bulge but should be drawn linearly aligned)
also should have an option to regularly space parallel helices (so that they are all evenly spaced)
also should be able to align/start the ends of specified helices to a common line / baseline
