`license-files` doesn't like spaces in a file name

With license-files = ["LICENSE", "Third-Party Notices.md"], I got an error of:

Config error: Invalid glob pattern for [project.license-files]: '{}'. Pattern contains invalid characters.

My reading of https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/specifications/glob-patterns/ is that spaces are forbidden by specification (Any characters or character sequences not covered by this specification are invalid.) But you could use ? to match a single character in place of the space.

Maybe this is an oversight? Maybe someone assumed that space counts as alphanumeric? " ".isalnum() says it doesn't, which is what I'd expect.

The decision was to add support for spaces.

Thanks! I'll reopen this issue, though I might wait for your documentation PR to be merged before actually changing the code.

My PR got merged, so spaces are now officially supported in glob patterns.
