Programmatically define output file for bench_func

I'm having trouble determining how to programmatically set the output file name when using Runner.bench_func().

Is this possible, and if so, are there instructions or examples available?

In the main process, the function directly returns an object which contains data. Why do you need a filename? Please elaboate your use case.

Hi @vstinner, I'd like to work on this.

This feature would be very useful for running benchmarks in Python-only automation scripts (like CI pipelines) without needing shell commands to save results. I plan to add an optional output parameter to bench_func to handle this.

Is this still open for contribution?
