[BUG] Make install fails if code.py is not found

Summary

Following directions here for Linux and it wouldn't work.

Steps to reproduce

Make an empty file called code.py and run make install-flight-software BOARD_MOUNT_POINT=<mnt point> again and it should be fine. Does not work without code.py.

Environment

Native Linux, Ubuntu 22.04

@kdizzlle Thanks for the report! I haven't been able to reproduce this issue.

Here's what I've tried.

1. Using flash-nuke firmware to wipe the board, reinstalling CircuitPython, deleting the code.py file, running make install-flight-software BOARD_MOUNT_POINT=<mnt point>
2. Running rm -rf <mnt point>/*, then make install-flight-software BOARD_MOUNT_POINT=<mnt point>

It looks like I am seeing an issue with the version.py file during the rsync. Is this the error that you're seeing?

rsync: [sender] link_stat "/media/ngay/PROVESKIT/version.py" failed: No such file or directory (2)

Are you able to consistently reproduce this issue?
What is the error that you're seeing? (please provide the output from the install command)
Which board are you using?
Can you describe any more steps to reliably reproduce this issue?
