feat: Support for text overflow ellipsis

If would be great to add text overflow ellipsis (char e.g. …) as an option

Example:

Be careful because it works in both ways! Like if the text is longer thant the area and you have moved to the right, then it overflows both ways

I will look into it and see how easy it is to do :) but probably doesnt have the highest priority for now

Glad to hear the system editor feature works. In dont know if you noticed but I had to change the api a bit, instead of making it part of on_event, I have to let users handle it themselves with system_editor::open after the events. Reason is that the system editor takes over the terminal and when coming back to the tui the user has to restore all its terminal modes like mouse mode themselves after "open". So a bit more manual but more flexible

Btw what us your use case for text overflow? Edtui is more an editor, at least to me line wrap is here more natural than overflow. Afaik vim also does not offer this overflow behaviour.

The inly place where i see it useful is single line input, which is not well supported at the moment.

My use case totally is single line inputs!

I've managed to have working single line inputs with edtui and it's going really great. I just had to tweak some things with the status line in order to keep it

I get that it's not a thing in vim, though this little feature can be cool. I may write a PR about it if I have the time.

Yes I have the similar experience in https://github.com/preiter93/wireman that its a few tweaks. So maybe some helpers and examples would be useful.
