Option to decrease row height for more compact grid view

I set minimal font size, but it's not enough. This tiny option could be nice. Just a bit (80-90% of default state), not more (it could break whole table layout).

Wouldn't the existing Zoom feature already solve this use case?

Zoom level is saved per file and can be adjusted from the status bar, menu, Ctrl + mouse wheel, or Ctrl + +/- hotkeys. Is there a specific reason why these options are not sufficient?

Nope. Zooming affects font size. In my case font is already smallest, so Zoom out makes text ugly. My suggestion rather affects line-height between rows etc.

Would it solve your use case if the row height automatically adjusted to the current font size?

For example, when using a smaller font, the rows would become slightly more compact as well, instead of keeping the same fixed height.

Hi! I've added the FitRowHeightToFont parameter to form_settings.json. When set to true, the minimum row height is disabled and rows always adjust to the font height. The option is disabled by default.

It can't currently be enabled through the UI, so you'll need to set it manually in:

C:\Users[User]\AppData\Local\notetask\form_settings.json

The setting applies to all files.

This behavior may not suit everyone. Personally, I don't like rows being too tightly packed together, and the minimum row height doesn't take up much extra space for me. I may expose this option in the UI if I add a settings dialog in a future version.

You'll need to wait for the next release or build the latest version from source.

By the way, you can achieve a similar effect by increasing the font size to something like 12 and then zooming out.

I think it's a bit too minor to justify adding a separate option even in a settings dialog. Also, there's already a simple workaround: increase the font size (for example, to 12) and then zoom out. That produces the same effect.
