Verify claude-fable-5 pinned price ($10/$50) against actual Anthropic billing for canary route #191

Description

@pitimon

Follow-up to #187/#188.

Problem

curated-overrides.json pins claude-fable-5 (and by fuzzy extension claude-auto-pilot-fable-v1-canary) at $10/$50 per MTok. This is a guess pinned from public Anthropic pricing, not a confirmed rate for the canary route specifically.

Cross-checked against Hermes local state for this session (~/.hermes/state.db, session_model_usage): every row for claude-auto-pilot-fable-v1-canary has cost_status IN (unknown, none) and actual_cost_usd = 0.0 — Hermes itself has no authoritative cost for this model. So the dashboard total (verified: $3,164.69 across 76 real production queue rows after #188 shipped) is entirely a curated-price estimate, not a reconciled invoice figure.

Ask

  • Confirm the actual billed rate for claude-auto-pilot-fable-v1-canary against a real provider invoice or gateway spend log.
  • If it matches $10/$50, add a note to the curated entry documenting the confirmation (source + date), same pattern as the other pinned entries.
  • If it does not match, correct curated-overrides.json and republish.

Evidence

  • Production queue: ~/.tokentracker/tracker/queue.jsonl, 76 rows for this model id, source: hermes.
  • Hermes DB: sqlite3 ~/.hermes/state.db "SELECT model, cost_status, cost_source, SUM(actual_cost_usd), SUM(estimated_cost_usd), COUNT(*) FROM session_model_usage WHERE model LIKE '%fable%' GROUP BY model, cost_status, cost_source" → all rows unknown/none, actual=0.

Not a regression from #188 — the estimate is disclosed as a "floor" via plan-value.ts confidence logic, but the underlying number should still be verified.
