[Feature]: Files panel: reveal file in Finder (local) / download file (remote) — copying the path is possible but there's no way to actually get to the file

Problem or use case

The Files panel lets you browse the workspace and copy a file's path, but that's where it stops: there is no way to actually access the file itself from the app. Concrete case: the agent produces a small artifact (a log, a JSONL of results, a generated doc) and I just want to send it to a third party — today I have to copy the path, leave T3 Code, and hunt for the file in the OS file manager. On a remote environment (SSH/Tailscale) even that fallback doesn't exist: the file lives on another machine, so there is simply no way to retrieve it.

Proposal

On Files panel rows (context menu and/or hover action):

• Reveal in Finder / file manager when the environment is local
• Download when the environment is remote — the only possible way to hand the file to someone without SSH-ing around T3 Code

Been bugging me for a while too. You should be able to right click a file and reveal in explorer or copy path. In the nightly build on Windows, I only get "Copy Mention" (whatever that means) or "Add to chat".

Feels like an obvious quality-of-life improvement. Especially being able to download a single remote file without switching to a second app.

+1. This comes up for me with the file chips in chat, not just the Files panel. On a remote environment, when the agent links an artifact like offer-emails-share.zip, clicking the chip opens the files panel, which can't read binary files, and there's no way to save the file.

I opened a small PR for the chat-chip part: #14083. It adds a Download item to the file chip's context menu when the environment is remote. The server serves exactly that one file through a signed asset URL as an attachment, using the same identity pinning as media previews. There are before/after screenshots in the PR.

I kept it to chat chips on purpose. Download on Files panel rows would be a natural follow-up using the same server piece.
