Open books in the Zotero app

Books open in web viewer. Desired behaviour: open books in the Zotero reader.

I'm not sure if it's possible to use zotero links on android (will check) but since the android app can't open epubs that wasn't a priority. When I find a way to use internal links on android I will try to let it send you to the app when clicking pdf covers.

I assume epub support on Android is coming soon, following iOS. I hope so at least. When it does, this feature would make Zotshelf a perfect companion for using Zotero as a reader.

I agree! This has been the plan all along and is possible on ios (I've tested). I'll look more into internal links on android and in the app. I'm not sure how it works or if it will work like it does on ios/windows.

Is an option to open it with another app installed on the device possible, e.g. using the system dialog that says 'Open with app...'? For epubs I use koreader which has a zotero integration, so opening epubs with koreader is something I'd like.
