Springer doesn't redirect properly to the PDF version when this one is annotated

Steps to reproduce

1. Visit the following website: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11082-021-03192-4
2. Go to the PDF version of the document
3. Annotate something
4. In Highlight&Go would create a link to the element.

Click on the link +hag:

5. It should redirect to the PDF, but it won't do that, redirecting to an undefined webpage

Seems to be that springer has changed something in their interface
