I've included a scan of the SC-55 manual.
So I was wondering if Nuked SC-55 could do this since it's basically replicating the ASIC chips and reading the roms. I pulled out a manual for the real thing and tried it and got it working.
Here's how to do it.
After Nuked SC-55 is loaded, press Q to shut off the simulated module.
Then hold down Left and Right on the keyboard at the same time and tap Q while still holding them down.
Use left and right to select the demo song. Press W to play. It might require pressing W twice (it did for me).
While playing you can press Left and Right to skip songs.
Weirdly, the only time I've heard the sound output crackle due to a buffer under-run is when playing the demo songs.
Also the demo songs don't output to loopMIDI at all, but that tracks since I don't think it's supposed to go in that direction.
