the ability to allow my PC to fall asleep while having Nuked SC-55 open

As the title says this is my request. If this is not a issue of the applications then I would be more than happy to know potential solutions to my request.

This has to do with how applications registers itself to Windows.
Music players are allowed to continue playback when system is put in Windows Modern Standby. (This feature does not work on Legacy Standby/Sleep)

There are two parts to this problem:

1. The Synth is a generic WIN32 application
2. The MIDI Player is also mostly a generic WIN32 application

Regarding the Synth, registering it as a music player is mostly beyond the scope of this project.
And even if it's updated to register as music player. The MIDI player also must be updated for the same.

Currently I have no good solutions to work around the problem.
While disabling sleep is one option it's not a good option.
