Scope checklist
Problem
Touchpad configuration is quite complete at the moment. However, there is one feature that I use in Niri that is not currently available in Umbiel: separate two finger scroll sensitivity for vertical and horizontal scrolling. I set horizontal much higher than vertical for the purposes of quick forward/back gestures.
What you already tried
I have already set the scroll factor to what I like for vertical, but this reduces responsiveness of back/forward gestures on my system.
Area
Input (keyboard, pointer, touch, gestures, IME)
Proposed behavior
I think it would be good to leave the scroll factor that already exists for anyone who doesn't care about separate scroll factors for vertical/horizontal and add in an override for each.
Scope fit
This belongs in the compositor because that's the only way I'm aware of to have this apply consistently across the system. I can't say more than that because I am not a developer, just an enjoyer of the Noctalia stack. Thanks for your work.
