Sometimes, some torrent sources have inverted colors (probably color channels swapped) when playing the video. Not specific to Kodi or Seren version. I use AllDebrid as provider. By comparison, I use Otaku plugin for anime which is very similar to Seren but this issue never occured in Otaku.
