Bug description
Environment
- Nextcloud Desktop 3.30.7
- macOS Tahoe 26.5.1
- Nextcloud Hub 10 / Server 32 (Hetzner Storage Share)
- Virtual Files (File Provider) enabled
- notify_push enabled
Problem
The desktop client reports "Everything synced", but files uploaded via the web interface are not downloaded to the Mac.
Observed behaviour
- Uploads from macOS to the server work correctly.
- Downloads from server to macOS do not.
- The tray icon sometimes changes to the warning triangle.
- The activity view occasionally stops updating correctly.
- notify_push is installed and enabled.
- A debug archive is attached.
I have already verified that notify_push is enabled on the server and that brute-force protection is not the cause.
The exact version in which the issue first appeared is unknown. It was noticed while using the current 33.0.7 client.

Steps to reproduce
- Upload a new file via the Nextcloud web interface into a folder configured as "Always keep downloaded" (Documents).
- Wait several minutes.
- The file never appears locally.
- The desktop client still reports "Everything synced".
Expected behavior
Files uploaded via the web interface should be downloaded automatically and the sync status should reflect the actual state.
