Feature Request: Ability to turn off LSP

LSPs can be very distracting + drain resources

If there's a way to turn it off, it would be much easier to switch over.

All I can find is "lsp_output" in the config, which "quiet" is still very noisy

You could just remove the language server from the file type config, or even just uninstall it. I guess you mean turn it off temporarily? Then the question is, what if it is already running? Keep it uptodate with file changes, but maybe just ignore diagnostics and disable auto complete? Or stop the language server all together?

It would be nice with an option to not auto-start LSPs in the configuration for a file type. If it's not configured to auto-start, you'd start it by running a command or get a dialog that asks if you want to start it when you open a file of that type.

Adding to this, from a Discord discussion today: one possibility would be a sort of "LSP Status" widget in the bottom bar, that gives you an overview of currently running LSPs along with what they're currently doing, and gives you the option to start/stop/restart them.
